My name is Katie. My family and I live in beautiful North Idaho. Surrounded by mountains, lakes, and farms, I set out to find a way to bring small farm wool to the yarn lover.

Knitting is a big part of my life. I love to use sustainable, local, and breed specific yarn. Often I get to spend the day at a local farm getting to know the farmer and the sheep. Then I bring the farm and yarn to you.

Range Wool is a way to share some of the joy I find from fiber craft. Our storefront is regularly updated as new yarns and styles become available. As well, we continue to add images, stories, and podcasts along the way. This is a place to learn more about wool and how it integrates with your next project. An opportunity to listen to farmers tell the stories of the animals they love.
