Greenacres, Washington
The Olson Family Farm is home to seven registered Shetland sheep, Nigerian Dwarf goats, chickens, turkeys, and ducks. Lisa and her husband, Ryan own approximately 4 acres on which they have built their home and farm. Their four children enjoy helping tend the animals, performing chores and giving plenty of love and attention to all the animal residents.
Their registered Shetland sheep came to their farm through a community of Shetland sheep farmers. These sheep spend their days grazing across the land, their favorite place being back in the trees. Each sheep is registered and named:
Lacey – Emsket fleece: dusky blue-gray
Kiera – Black fleece
Easton – Dark brown fleece
Pandora – Grey fleece
Emily – Dark Brown/Katmoget fleece: light colored body with dark legs and belly
Ryca – Musket fleece: light greyish brown
Indy – Non-registered wildling, black fleece
